Bedroom Feng Shui

This focused consultation analyses bed direction, door alignment, mirror placement, and elemental balance to ensure the room supports rather than undermines you.

About Bedroom Feng Shui

Does the bed have to face a specific direction?

Each person has four favourable directions and four unfavourable ones based on their Ba Zhai trigram. The optimal sleeping direction depends on you — and may differ for each partner. Master Yap balances both.

I have mirrors facing the bed — is that really a problem?

In most cases, yes. Mirrors reflecting the bed disrupt rest and amplify any disharmony in the room. The fix is usually simple: cover them at night or relocate them.

Can I have plants or fish tanks in the bedroom?

Generally no. Bedrooms are restorative spaces and benefit from being calm and elementally simple. Plants and water features add Yang energy that disrupts sleep.

What if I share a bed with a partner with a different trigram?

This is common. Master Yap finds the best compromise direction — usually one that is favourable for both partners or aligns with the more sensitive sleeper.
